Charity quilt cross stitch square

Well this is my first post on my blog...Woohoo!!!
This is my first square for a charity quilt a group of us on MSE are doing, it will be made up of cross stitch squares and we have picked a fairytale alphabet design, I have letters 'E' and 'R'.
I wasn't happy when i realised this square has 11 french knots in it! Up until now i have managed to avoid doing any french knots, so I quickly popped on YouTube and found a video demonstrating how to do them. Luckily after a couple of tries I managed to pick it up quite well. So im extra proud of this piece of work.

Eek.....

....french knots give me the willies lol... I have a huge cross stitch called Calendar Bears and it's all been finished for years apart from the wedding bear one for June I think it was...as it's got french knots in!
